    What ppl dont understand is.... if Leonard, and Hearns(and Duran) were around today... Pac and Floyd woulda never moved up to welter.

    I think you actually have a good point. At the same time, Ray would still (I think) be the cash cow and the big draw so I think a lot of people might chance fighting him.

    Theres no question to who would of won.

    But take into mind that both Floyd and Pac are coming from lower weight classes than Hearn and SRL ever been in. Especially Pac.

    You dont know **** about boxing. Then why did Foreman and Holmes did so well in another era?Why is hopkins so competitive in this erea?The heavyweights of the 70's would destroy the heavyweight of today except perhaps the Klits would be in real fights.I would make Chavez and whitaker a favorite over Floyd too.

    In general, the talent pool of boxing has diminished because more and more people chose other sports over boxing.

    There is only one Roger Mayweather sir, so stop trying to ask like him so you can have a small taste of what it's like to be around greatness. But to answer your question, that is the Heavyweight division, less skill is required, just having a power punch is enough to win fights. btw, Duran blew up to heavyweight in his 40's, did he compete in that weight class? I thought not so your opinion is void :!:

    Actually there is a case Floyd can beat Leonard, but Hearns is a terrible matchup cause he is no Diego Corrales. But the fighters are not better than the fighters of 20-30 years ago man. Be real.

    No, he got smashed up as he went up in weight...but by 2002 he was 200lbs, so by your logic he should of been able to been a elite heavyweight :roll:
