Emanuel Steward Says Pac vs. Cotto II Very Possible!

It's a pointless fight. The only opponent Pacquaio needs to fight is the winner of Floyd / Shane. He beats everyone else rather easy.

 

If Cotto is going to rematch anybody it needs to be Margarito. Another fight with Pac offers little if anything.

 

What a load of horse****. Styles make fights. going by what your saying it would be pointless fight anyone. No one thought that Hopkins would beat Pavlik, shane would beat Margo, Dirrell would beat AA, Ward would beat Kessler. So those fighters were pointless right??? Get out of here with that ****.

What?? I said Pac Cotto 2 is pointless. He needs to fight the winner of Floyd / Mosley, that's it. Who else out there WW and below can beat Pacquiao?

Cotto did well until he abandoned his jab. Steward is about as jab happy as they come, so it could be a very different fight.

 

As usual a ******* misses the entire point of a post. sitting backa nd saying that pac beats everyone is stupid. How many times have we as boxing fans said that then watched a fighter get his ass kicked by one of those guys that he was SUPPOSE to beat.

The winner of Shane and Floyd is the fight that should happen, but saying that no one eles can beat Pac is nuthuggin at its finest. This isnt math were there is only one right answer. Its freaking boxing were the underdog wins often, and style matchups are the biggest part in match making.

 

Stewards has a habit of tring to make every fighter fight like Hearns. If your tall and have great power then it works IE Lewis, Wlad. If your not that tall or dont have that much power it fails, IE Hamed, and Taylor. At any rate, Cotto needs something solid in his camp, and Steward maybe that force. Cotto isnt a bad fighter, I personally dont think that he is as tough as he need to be to beat a truely elite fighter, or he doesnt have the unbreakable belief in himself.

 

Don't worry. Guy is a typical Floyd nuthugger. He thinks Floyd fighting anyone is unnecessary because the outcome is already known therefore he has never ducked anyone. What a hypocrite.

 

Go back though my posts and find one post were I said that about Floyd??? I know that boxing is about styles, and I know that Pac fights pretty much ONE style of fighters. and it always has something to do with Slow or OLD.:good

 

If Manny can get Cotto to the point where he consistently works behind his jab, which is actually quite good, that would make a difference. And then, convince Cotto that tactical clinching is an important skill, that would also make a difference. Those things may not be enough, but they would add up to an improved Cotto.
