"This is exactly what I thought would happend!" :tired:tired:tired:tired:tired:tired:tired:tired:tired:tired
He did train Cintron... (And watched Kermit land flush shot's which inspired smiles from Margarito) To his credit did say all along that Margarito would be too much to handle. for any of the top Welterweight's. (After The Cintron II fight) (I'll at least give him that)
Oh he's right about most of his predictions (or so I think) But he's so full of himself with his infamous line :hey
T o be fair Steward called the outcome of Cotto-Margarito correctly after about 60 seconds of the first round. So, for once, the fight did go exactly as he expected.
Lampley and Steward have really become such cliches in that they're so ****ing predictable: Lampley : "(house fighter) takes (opponent he openly dislikes)'s shots directly on the chin as if to say: ......" Steward (after something completely unexpected changes tide of the fight):.." and this is exactly how I saw the fight going...." but yes, in steward's defense, even in the first few rounds he was skeptical of how long Cotto could keep it up
he said Margarito chin was something Stweard does know his stuff but exgarates things alot he knew Barrera would beat Naz - and he trained Naz for that fight
Manny did call this one on point...he saw early on how Cotto's punches, while looking good, and explosive, weren't hurting Tony at all. He was dead on the mark of how the fight would end.
