Two years ago this hypothetical matchup would have been Pryor by a landslide. Pac has really made incredible strides the past few years. I think Pac-Pryor would be a great fight - could see either fighter winning.

A prime Tszyu v Pac at 140 would be a great fight also. Tszyu was a master of timing and counter punching and had unusually heavy hands - I think this fight is a toss-up.

Whitaker went from 135 to 147, although I think a prime Whitaker (if he was at 140) would have a slight edge over Pac. Although I could see Pac eventually getting to Whitaker late in that fight as well.

Apparently logic in this forum counts for nothing, they all now need scientific evidence to prove what is logical without it.

I think since Pac, while he can pass as a true WW, is still on the small side for a welter any of the really good or great Welters would have a decent to really good change of beating him. We've seen it in the Cotto and Clottey fights, the full fledged welters can really bust Pac up. Still, Pac being who he is, those would all be pretty damn good fights that I would love to see.

Judging by some of Pryor's performances during his reign against southpaws, I'd favor Pacquiao to win a wild, exciting fight.

I have Aaron Pryor higher by 7 in ATG status. But prime Pryor vs. current Pac. I'll go for a Pac via SD win. To whoever poster that said, Pryor is bigger than the opponents that Pac is beating - is a moron.

Pryor isn't a technical fighter, but is very relentless and a solid chin. This fight will go the distance. With Pac's clean shots on the body, usual timing shots on various angles, and tremendous workrate - will be getting the nods of the judges. But i have to admit, Pryor's punch accuracy is decent, and his consistency on fighting at the right distance has it's advantages. Simply put, it'll be a close fight, though i think Pac's pressure will find it's way to win atleast 6-7 rounds.

I found the moron. Arguello is definitely skilled but his peak is at featherweight (126 lbs)!
