I think its close. I've said before Roach by a margin, but on second thought, Roach by very little. The two best trainers in the world in the last decade for sure.

How do you spell it with a T in the title and a D in the post?

Roach has sympathy let's say from the 'older' generation.Plus with the shakin baby syndrome he's gotta be trainer of the year until they bury him.I respect him but he gets far too much burn.

I think BOTH fall short to Nacho Beristain. Those guys take fighets who are already world class champions and make them marginally beetter.. while Nacho on the other hand, will take a young kid right from the very beginning go and turn him into a hall of fame all-time great. Now that's a trainer!

I will agree that Nacho is the better father figure.

I think that Steward molds fighters into a style that is his own. If you cannot adjust to it, that fighter will almost always fail.

Roach on the other hand, will normally not force a fighter to change completely, but takes what the fighter knows/has and just adds to it.

All three are pretty good strategists. But only Roach is the only one I've heard that makes good points.

Like with Hatton reverting to his old style with the first good hit, or how DLH doesn't understand how to cut off the ring.

Manny has a better resume and can take a fighter from good to great. Roach is great to both some of the greatest trainers of all time but he likes to hand pick opponents fair play to him though i think i would too.

roach is great...round for round and in the corner... he will be exact about what you did and what you need to do now.

his best atribute that puts him aside from others is... he don't say "keep doing whatchu doing baby" "keep hittin him...he's gettin tired"

roach don't spout that ****.... he gives info like he just watched it on tv 3 times and knows what the **** is up and what needs to be done.

duddy is still going to smash the kid.

I would say Roach is a better strategist but maybe does not understand certain styles as much as Steward.

Its easy to forget how poor Jermain Taylor & Kermit Cintron looked under steward, not to mention Andy Lee.

anyways i'd say they are equal

they are both good at the style they teach and the way they teach it, everyone has a different method and both of theirs work.
