He hit Feliciano with the kitchen sink and could not shift him, needless to say he struggled badly as Feliciano kept coming after him pressing the fight, Cintron eventually found a punch to stop him late.

manny steward only trains guys with power. he is limited. he can't train people to fight on the inside.

roach is a one trick pony. he got pac. i think if pac were to be trained by anyone else he wouldn't have had the type of success that he does. they have great chemistry and its just a match made in heaven.

    they are equal.

Roach sees things others dont see, in fact a lot of time he sees things the majority of the boxing world didnt see coming. Like the easy fights against Hatton and DLH.. like the easy matchup of Paulie for Khan.

Steward, he did improve cotto a lot, wlad as well but he isnt good with predictions at all. His prefight predictions during commentary are usually wrong and then by the end of the fight he uses his favorite line "its going exactly as I predicted"

I think overall roach is better but he is probably overworked and has too many fighters and too much going on to give the most of his attention. But if its a tall guy who likes to use the jab then Steward would be the better trainer for him. He just better win cause steward will toss you to the curb if you loose.

jermaine taylor just purely didnt listen to him. he would be polite in his corner and say yes sir...etc...but never ****ing listened..... even when it was advice to save his hide from being beat... not so much on the offensive tip... he just didnt listen.

sometimes steward has to scream at them.

like how naseem had to get with mosley... like....are you ****ing listening? are you here with me?
knoding your head means nothing....are you good ? will you listen?

i think stewards says alot of **** on air just for the sake of saying something

he is a good trainer, he has a great resume equal to or better than roach's.

I feel like steward is kind of limited in his teaching strategy. Like someone else said, he doesn't train any inside fighting at all really, I can't say JCC or Cotto have been properly trained by steward in the way that was right for them.

Watching them both train their fighters on pads, Roach tends to have better insight, techniques and strategy...then again that's on camera and we dont know what Steward teaches off it. I just think Manny teaches in 1 style, whereas Roach can adapt any style and perfect it, add lil weapons to their arsenal.

Corner work for both men is very good, always sees the fight how it really is unfolding and what they need to do. Certainly much better than just "box him baby, just box him" or "bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrppppppp!!!".

he takes a mummy...makes them slightly less robotic...changes them from hunching forward at the opponent.. to standing tall ...using the height...and usually if they are taller... they have longer arms as well... he makes them target paw

paw paw paw the jab..seems useless.. gets counted on the punchstat...

but that paw...is where they hone in on the target. makes it easier to blast them cannon straight right hands.

they are not the craftiest...but when they keep thier hand out...the target hand... the bomb hand launches soon after.

name me five trainers from around the world.. these two are the best known trainers but they are not above many trainers around the world.. they just have camps in the states and are gun for hire.. that's all.. plus is all about styles and i like roach training style... he's more like a workman trainer plus he was an ex boxer that still has the mentality of a boxer

the most well known trainers are the best.

they aren't known for no reason.

the unknown bum trainers you speak of train people like you, nobodies.
