I've actually always been a fan of Sioux Blandamura's, but I'm rooting for Morrison in this strictly because I would like this to be over sooner than later so I may urinate (and he has the FAR better chance of making that happen).

    Round 1 Morrison 10-9
    Round 2 Morrison 10-9

Another fairly dominant Morrison round, Blandamura having a little more success. But not that much.

Weird. BoxRec has been right on top of updating the results of this card since before the Sky broadcast even started...but it has now been half an hour since the ref saved Zoulikha in the co-main and still not done.

10-9 Morrison, a little messier, some more clinching, but still nothing effective from the hometown fighter, who's boxing scared and eating lots of jabs.

    20-18 MNM

Morrison's coach's accent and just voice in general, goodness me. :risas3::risas3::risas3:

Sounds like the main villain's gorilla henchman in an anthropomorphic animal cartoon.

    Round 1 Morrison 10-9
    Round 2 Morrison 10-9
    Round 3 Morrison 10-9

They both rocked each other with left hooks, Blandamura got the worst of it, Emanuele picking his shots better, finished a little stronger.

10-9 Morrison, most dominant yet, nearly had Blandy on Queer St. as he turned his aggression against him when they traded big left hooks (but also took and was shaken by one himself), kept piling up points during the lulls with quick jabs off the hip and scrambled the older man's circuits with a few right crosses.

Emanuele's trainer is fairly cartoonish himself..

    "eyy, basta!"

I can picture him twirling a thin mustache and saying "nobody has a better-a pizza-pie than-a Pepe!"

    Round 1 Morrison 10-9
    Round 2 Morrison 10-9
    Round 3 Morrison 10-9
    Round 4 Blandamura 10-9, close

Blandamurra nicked it on activity and accuracy. Morrison looks to be gassing.

note: this has been demoted to a 10-rounder. In the history of the WBC International silver middleweight title, it has been fought across both a 10- and 12-round distance, so I guess it was sort of a day-of judgment call and they probably opted for the former due to TV time-slot constraints.

sidenote: both men have fought for and won this title before. Blandamura defeated Luca Tassi and briefly held it in 2012, but never defended. Morrison captured it four years later against Jefferson Luiz De Sousa, but lost in his first defense against Jason Welborn.

This still isn't a pimple on Demchenko vs. Zoulikha II's ass, but a better fight than I expected.
