R.I.P Steward. I dont care what anybody says, steward was easily one of the greatest trainer of all times. Not many trainers can say they have help many fighters to become one of the all time greats like what steward did with lewis, hearns, wlad and many others. And ppl might forget but in holyfield 3 fights with bowe, his only win over bowe was the second fight in which steward was holyfield trainer.

**** them. This thread is about Manny STEWARD. I wish his family well and it feels surreal to hear about his passing. I'm still in denial to a degree....

    RIP Steward

I was hoping all the early reports weren't true. So damn sad. I never knew he was sick. What a loss to the sport of boxing. RIP Manny a true boxing legend.

i knew something was up when he kept being absent from HBO and they were saying he "wasn't feeling well". i was hoping for the best, but expecting the worse.

    sucks. :-(

So it's true. The whole process of him becoming sick and passing seemed to happen so quickly. It's very sad, especially given he was clearly a guy who took good care of himself

Nevertheless, he lived his life doing what he loved and achieved great things. He always came across as a gentleman and he's respected and loved in boxing because of that

    R.I.P.
