    Excuses for what? I believe he won the fight and so do you so what exactly am I making an excuse for?

    I'm making observations on the fight not trying to point score to make Calzaghe look good, or to say he 'outboxed' Hopkins because frankly that doesn't really matter.

    Calzaghe's boxing ability earnt him the right to outwork B-Hop. It takes a good boxer to beat Hopkins by any method. That's not to say he beat Hopkins by actually 'outboxing' him. There is a subtle difference.

    Calzaghe outboxed Hopkins easily. Calzahge had the balls to come to America and beat Hopkins in his own backyard!
