All this khan Peterson rubbish is disturbing for the sport,I had friends who are casual fans and watched the fight and they loved it,the same group of mates just came over and watched the fa cup manchester derby which featured a referee error that changed the course of the match(sound familiar).there was no cries of no contest or get the result overturned although there will be complaining.

The fact is if footballers in the uk are showing amir how to behave and be a sportsman then there must be wrong.

Due to his lack of respect towards people and Peterson I hope amir gets knocked out against Peterson and anyone else he fights, his arrogance is what caused this defeat along with a motivated Peterson

What is the thoughts in America around this as people in the uk I know are sick of the moaning by golden boy?am I correct in thinking golden boy did similar with hopkins

Your right hey maybe Amir should just be like Pacquiao

Let other people speak for him "depends on my promotor Bob Arum"

Who cares Amir can say all he likes I don't care people will always watch him box he is exciting

That Peterson fight was dodgy & now people are finding ways around so Peterson doesn't have to rematch

Boxing is turning into a piece of crap. I'm surpised so many fighters are so composed with their words & not lashing out at certain individuals these days.

Great fight ruined by a crap ref & crap officiating

If you think Khan whining is bad for the sport then your missing the BIGGER PROBLEMS, like some random dude sitting and talking in a restricted area without authorization...

    you see what I mean?

Oh there is no doubt the ref had a poor performance but this is not the first poor performance in the history of sport it happens every weekend in every sport but as sportsman you get on with it

Khan himself had a poor night due to being unmotivated and badly prepared for the fight so maybe there needs to be a focus on this too

yes but 1 messed up decision doesnt really make a difference in football and most other sports but 1 L on your record can make a huge difference, look at what it has done to khan lost his chance at mayweather, lost alot of respect from casuals. People were talking about him being future p4p b4 the fight.

I agree 100 percent with this, Khan needed to act like a champions even in defeat and he disgrace himself with the way he has acted since the fight as have Golden Boy

It's no longer about the ref, it's about hat man.

Manchester derby didn't have some shady character whispering into officials ears and tampering with their notes.

No it had half a team surrounding the ref screaming in his face.the fact that it keeps being about one thing at one moment and then another thing and then another is what is making it embarrassing which is what I mean.

    First it was the city

    Then the ref

    Then the judges

Now a mystery man in a hat

Anyone care to guess what next?

It's a bit of an embarrassment alright, but it's hardly the worst thing to ever happen in Boxing. It'll blow over when the rematch has been sanctioned.

    :lol::lol::rofl:rofl:patsch

Are you ****ing serious??!! In a year where the Premiership has been embroiled with players hurling racist abuse at one another (Suarez and Terry), you're saying Premiership footballers are showing more class than Khan?

    Get the **** outta' here.

Khan and his team maintained from the start something strange happened with the cards.

It wasn't one excuse then try something else as you state.

Fact is there was some fella who shouldn't have been where he was, who is seen talking to an official and tampering with notes, and no one can say why or what happened.

You're analogy has crashed and burned.

The best of it is Khan would win a rematch IMO,just wish he'd move on and force Peterson into a spot where he HAS to face him, even if it means becoming the mandatory.I'd still like to know why Sky were saying there was a rumour going round that Khan was going to get the verdict. And I'm sure someone in his camp said they heard they were getting the nod. That sounds quite dodgy to me as well. All this crying is only making his already shaky popularity even more precarious.Move on Amir, even if you have to take the long road. You're not an old man and time is on your side. There's been several far worse decisions last year.

I think Khan did the right thing by exposing that IBF guy.

These dodgy decisions have gone on for too long, too many fighters have been robbed, its about time this stuff was bought to the forefront so it can be dealt with.

Why was a guy who works for the IBF tlaking to the judge throughout the fight?

I admit when i first heard about it, i thought Khan shut up already, but now im seeing hes got a point.

    Dude is talking to official
    Khan gets points taken off
Scorecards take a long time to sort out
    Scorecards have been changed
    Same dude celebrating with Peterson

    We cant just ignore this.....
