The PRIDE shows built a legacy of combining the brutal and the technical and many of the events are as rewatchable today as they ever were Worked out well for the UFC as well as they were relying on Randy/Chuck/Tito & Hughes rematches to carry the card for US MMA in the same time frame until PRIDE's demise when they added the likes of Silva, Shogun, Rampage, Big Nog to their roster as well as having the monopoly of the young talent whilst established stars like Randy and BJ Penn were constantly jumping ship when there were other viable options Nice to have owners with $50+ million to spare eh
