That's what that TUF fight tonight was. Jesus, I've never seen two guys so winded in the second round that they back away, put their hands on their knees, and just stare at each other. And Rampage is the worst coach in the history of coaching. He couldn't pick a matchup to save his life, or a team for that matter. Instead of getting a vet like Roy Nelson, he picks these 6'10 goons with 0 skill and -5 cardio. I'll be surprised if Nelson doesn't destroy Kimbo next week. Absolutely surprised.
It was horrific ill agree but ill cut them some slack because of the octagon jitters obviously its no UFC PPV main event but this fight will be seen by all of the MMA world and they get adrenaline dumps. Although ill say for sure that was the biggest dumps ive ever sit I mean you cant hold your hands or your hips or lean agianst the fence like Shivers did. You have to push through it id rather go all out and be KTFO then laying agianst the fence gassping for air or just gassping for air looking at my hurt opponet.
Whats up with everyone being an ex nfl player in that show? What happened with having an actual martial art background?
Any one give Kimbo a shot at Nelson ? Nelson has far more experience , but Kimbos power always makes him dangerous. And whatever happened to Petruzelli , the kid that knocked Kimbo out ? I am suprised that he didnt try and capitalize on being the guy that knocked out Kimbo.
Well im just saying having a fighting background. So many ex footbal players straight to MMA. i dont know i just feel like that.
These guys are handpicked and goes through a tough interview process: Heres a sample: "We have a new show You want to fight?" "Ummm, fight where?" "Its going to be in a cage on TV" "Sure" "Whats your Martial art background or style" "Im a big guy played football" "We'll call you"
I don't. Nelson is much, much more well-rounded. Kimbo also hasn't shown in his fights to have that great of hands. James Thompson gets knocked out by just about everyone, but he ate a lot of Kimbo punches without going out. If Rampage was a good coach (which he's not even close to being), he would have picked a limited striker for Kimbo to face. There are guys there that Kimbo would whoop (like his sucky teammate from tonight), but Rashad picked the toughest fight for him: a decent striker with tons of experience and a good ground game.
I'll give Kimbo about a 30% chance next week. Big Country will want to put him out, so look for a quick brawl.
Anyone think Dana will pay Nelson off to take the fall ? Dana can make more ppv buys with Kimbo on a card than with Nelson.
Big Country to put it on Kimbo next week! Tonight's fight was horrible. I thought I was watching UFC 1 all over again.
was a shocking fight but id say if kimbo gets beat then a lot of peoples interest in the show will be over so i expect a win for kimbo!!!
