I think this was an absolute embarressment for the García family. They are a fighting family and I would have assumed they knew what they were doing when they allowed Mikey to take the fight.

All the big game Mikey talked and he got exposed big time. Damn I don’t know how he recovers from this.

 

Garcia fought to survive.

He is very limited and decidedly not P4P as he cannot fight on the inside.

damn straight. they gave him plenty of exits when it got hot, but he chose to stay in the pan. spence took a serious shot at stopping this man, and mikey took his lumps like a man. his heart aint one of the things that disappointed about his performance.

Yeah I was hoping Garcia would take the risk and go for the knockout in the last round. It's a PPV fight and fight fans pay to admire and respect a fighter who goes out trying to win rather than listening to a commentator correctly predict that the last few rounds would be about whether Garcia can survive Spences onslaught. Yet I still watched, hoping Garcia would just fire everything but nope. It was a pretty dull fight in the end.

Good fight from Spence though.

 

It was a very poor performance by Mikey, I thought Spence was excellent though.

For a guy who was born into a boxing family that was a horrible performance and definitely needs to go back down in weight. Even at 135 Loma would school him i think, especially now.

I thought Mikey started ok but the physical advantages Spence had were just far too great. Garcia should not be fighting again at WW.
