Mulindwa might have found a winning recipe late in R3. Baiting in Karimi while backing into the ropes and then landing counter combinations set up with a hard high double jab. Still lost the round but if he keeps that up going into the fourth he could turn momentum around.

    Mulindwa starting to control range.

Entering uncharted waters for Karimi, who's never fought beyond 4-rounders. Mulindwa has gone ten (when he won the Ugandan lightweight title in 2023)

    This is fairly entertaining tbh.

10-9 Mulindwa, using the shoulder roll and countering well on the backfoot, sending dramatic sprays of sweat flying off Karimi's head.

    48-47 Karimi

This is the final round, apparently. Demoted from 8 to 6 for time constraints (at least I sincerely hope that's why, and not a corrupt decision to preserve the victory for Karimi...)

"Beautiful uppercut; it went smish-smash!"

This commentary is top notch. The "ooh!" count's been innumerable.

10-9 Mulindwa, 57-57 draw for me.

The main commentator also has it three apiece. He says one judge walked by him and overheard, and gave him a wink saying "you're scoring it well", essentially spoiling that at least one card was level if not the result itself being a draw.

    Official cards:

    58-56 red corner
    57-57
    59-55

    MD for ...red corner! (Mulindwa)

Huh. Mulindwa definitely was the classier boxer and better overall fighter, and did well to claw his way back into this and earn a draw on my card. I could see 58-56, but he got beat up for the first two rounds. 59-55 makes no sense to me.

    WHOA!

They just made a pretty huge announcement. Ricky Hatton will be returning to action in "Destiny in the Desert 2025", streamed live on this same platform.

Hatton's opponent on December 2nd will be the promoter of this event, 46 year old Eisa "The Arabian Warrior" Al Dah, who became the first Arab professional boxer to compete in his country back in 2007. His record is 8-3 (4), competing mostly at light middleweight.

Hatton, also 46 years old, is 45-3 (32) with his last appearance in 2012 losing by KO9 to Vyacheslav Senchenko at welterweight.

González is 5'7", so I'm guessing the Indian switch-hitter is close to if not six feet tall.
