So what do we make of these short, old junior welters with puny wingspans? How low do they rank on the middleweight list? Do they even sniff the edges of the top 100? Or are those prestigious spots firmly held down by Danny Jacobs and the Clenbuterol Clowns? I'm just confused as to when a 5'7" welterweight becomes a viable middleweight title challenger as opposed to a gimme fight.

Valdes would be in the 90-100 bracket but if he had 3" more reach we'd be looking at 20-30.

It might not have been enough, against Griffith... ...Valdes was only two-inches taller, remember?

Gil Clancy would have to make a decision on which corner to be in.
