    In a punch for punch contest you probably aren't gonna beat Kalambay because of his speed and timing. He was a master boxer with exceptional footwork.

    But Griffith was incredibly skilled himself and wasn't afraid to fight rough when he had to. At a high tempo for the full fight.

    I just can't see Kalambay playing matador to Griffith's bull.

    I mean yes Kalambay did beat Mike handily first time round and yes Griffith was outboxed more often than not against LMR. Maybe Kalambay wins the first because Griffith might use the wrong gameplan.

    But when Emile realises he can't win the boxing match, and when he realises he needs to make it a fight, I can't see Sumbu keeping away for the full fight. At some point a double or triple jab is gonna offset Sumbu and pave way for a huge combo, thay finishes the fight.

    I would lean towards a decision either way. I can see Griffith being able to close that gap to get inside eventually...It might take him until the rematch though.
