tough fight both slick and cagey however i believe emile hits harder and is heading for a win in this fight.

Griffith would win a very close decision, maybe lose a rematch and then edge Mayweather again in the rubber match. Griff was bigger, stronger and a wily cuss if there ever was one.

Griffith very technical and knew how to use his reach at it's fullest. Jab, jab, and then jab some more. Would be a close fight and Floyd would have to fight with some urgency more than in any other fight. It's one where Floyd might actually be getting outboxed. Edge to Emile.

I don't think Floyd would do all that great against a real ATG welterweight.

    Griffith UD.

  5. i think that many people are overrating the old champions and underrating the modern boxers. this fight would have been close, but griffith even in his prime had several defeats ,moyer, paret, rodriguez,( i will not mention fullmer, benvenuti or rubin carter in the middle). he did beat these guys in the rematches in the welter but anyway he did show that he might be defeated. and the facts are floyd is undefeated, he is arrogant and stupid but still a great boxer and undefeated. i think that it would be close but i will pick floyd by sd. not always the old school was better
