Two fighters who fought around the same time and also faced similar opponents as well (Dick Tiger, Ralph Dupas, Rubin Carter, Holly Mims) but just missed out on getting in the ring together. Both guys very crafty boxers, perhaps Griffith just a bit more versatile than Giardello. How do you see this go with both at their best?
I like Griffith. Joey excelled at beating swarmers and bangers but Griffith is the type of guy that I could see outpointing him. I see a close tactical fight that I would give a slight edge to Emile.
