Gavilan by a competitive decision. Both men would partake in a lot of set ups and posturing and, when it occurs, high level action.
Can’t go wrong with either guy IMO, if forced to choose I go with Gavilan...but not sure I would bet a dime on it...ok...maybe a dime but no more!
Can't call it. These guys were both complete fighters. Griffith may have had a little more power but not really a factor because nobody is KOing the Keed.
Griffith had the speed and strength to keep up with Gavilan. He would also be skilled enough to prevent Gavilan from getting the time and space he needed to fight at his best. Something like a 9-6 decision for Griffith
