Well i think Griffith has some sort of stylistic good going for him here, in the form of when fighters came to him he was brilliant at hitting them with fast combos that were derived from a high skillset, and a proper one on offense. He could mix his shots. Duran's not going to try and outbox him a la LMR, but he might be better, crazy as it sounds to say in regard to a fighter of Griffith's quality.

Duran would fire in his quick shots from range, even in the jab, and they would score in my opinion, but it's when that distance is closed that he knows he is in a fight and Griffith does have good footwork to fire shots then be away, though i wouldn't say that's his forte. People like to say that Duran always wins when a man doesn't mind letting him come to try and get shots off, but some fighters have made it competitive in such regard. There was Leonard and Dejesus, but i see Duran winning the fight, he'd be able to score and then we'd see a great fight at close quarters and he'd land to the body which might edge it for him.

 

Duran is by far the better boxer here and a Duran UD is a none brainer, Roberto would also be bound to trash talk Griffith's sexuality

 

It depends on which Griffith shows up. He had a bad habit of keeping things close. That's dangerous against Duran.
