At either weight Griffith would split a couple with Duran and win the rubber match...all by decisions.

Griffith was a natural welterweight. Duran, a natural lightweight. If they were both natural welterweights i would go with Duran. However, i pick Griffith to defeat Duran in any fight where the weight is 147 or above. You may say yeah, but duran fought well as a junior middle and middleweight and you would be right. However, Griffith also fought junior middles and middleweights and was very successful in those fights. I liked watching Duran a lot more than Griffith. Duran was full of fire and very entertaining. Griffith was a more methodical and to me atleast, a less interesting fighter to watch.

Duran has a better chance at WW. I think he would take the first one in a narrow one, would lose the second one equally narrow and the thid one clearly. While both were old at 154, Duran´s title winning perfomance impressed me more than anything Griffith did there and Emile is not blowing out Duran like Hearns did, so I´d take a motivated Duran there.
