There have been reports circulating for the last 24 hours that Khan signed a written agreement to fight Pacquiao on April 9th of 2016 in Las Vegas. There have also been denials issued by Arum, with lots of speculation as to how credible the reports are or whether Arum is just waiting until certain things are ironed out behind the scenes to make the announcement.

Either way, it could happen - and Khan is among the likeliest options for Pacquiao on a short list that also includes Terence Crawford, Lucas Matthysse or a Floyd Mayweather Jr. rematch. So if Pacquiao vs. Khan does happen - what happens? :think

Pacquiao is giving up 3" of height, 4" of reach, and eight years of age in this match-up.

I think Pac carries Khan to a wide UD.

Khan is 4-0 at welterweight. Two of those victories are creditable (the last two). Kidd Diaz was past his best and still dropped Khan. Collazo was shot to hell.

Pacquiao meanwhile is 9-3 at the weight and his resume slaughters Khan's. Pacquiao has defeated ODLH (fine, shot and drained, but no less creditable than Khan's victory over Collazo), Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, Marquez, Rios, Bradley, and Algieri - who is arguably Khan's best WW win, and not even top 5 for Pac. His losses came to Bradley (controversial), Marquez, and Mayweather - nothing to be ashamed of.

Pac by KO, he's over the hill but still good enough to beat Khan.

Pac should KO khan with relative ease.

I think this is a great fight for Pacquaio in many respects - but in no way a sure thing. Khan is fast, long, and athletic - and for an aging fighter coming off a loss these things are usually best avoided.

However, I think Pac will get to him several times in the fight, and could end up finishing him. If Pac gets to Khans chin (which if the Khan/Algieri fight is anything to go by then he certainly should) I think we will see knockdowns.
Has Pac's killer instinct gone though? And don't forget he used to be friends with Khan and is known to be a compassionate man even to his foes.

If Khan boxes smart, his attributes could serve him well against a late 30's fighter - and I believe Khan gets underrated on here - but ultimately, I think Pac should stop him. Probably with a sharp counter left hand starting all of Khan's woes.

    MVC!, come on!

There is no argument for Khan having a better chin than Pacquiao, and you know it.
