What really bums me out is that I was really pulling for Chris, I like the guy. I like boxer stylists, I like his confidence, and when he's matched right, I love to see the guy work. More importantly, I like to see a guy that can enjoy avocado and toast almost as much as me. Chris and I relate to one another, in that " I want to put avocado on anything I possibly can" sort of way, and that's important to me.

What was the connect percentage landed on Manny in his last 3 fights? His D is under rated.

Lmfao @ these ppl in this forums gave Chris a great chance to beat Pacquiao cause of his size lmfao man please. You ppl are knuckle heads. Pac fought a guy who didn't belong to be in the same ring with pac. Chris barely survive and really got a gift win over prov before facing pac which chris was busted. What does beating c level fighter Chris means? lol for real.

    :good

Hopefully chris can bounce back from this. Unfortunately, he seems good enough to stay relevant but not good enough to pierce that upper level. Which can often mean he keeps getting matched with dangerous fighters and it winds up being a pretty brutal career. We will see.

    Yep.

I watched the KD in slow motion:

Chris was stretched out on the canvas with 1:22 left in the round.

He was fully vertical again at 1: 11

Altogether, he was down for 11 seconds.

    Unofficial result: KO 9.

The timing here could not have been better scripted for the purposes of comedy.

    Counting backwards...

1:40 Lane: "He's going to put him to sleep here in a few minutes."

1:35 Lane: "I'm a let him go in one more round."

1:33 Lane: "I got him in the cage right now."

1:31 Kellerman: "the plan is for Algeiri to knock Pacquaio out ?"

1:28 Lane: "yes but I still got him in the cage, he listens to me very well...

1:26 Lane: "...but I'm gonna let him loose in another round or so."

    1:24: Kellerman: "round 10?"

1:23: Lane: "Round 10 or 11 or so..."

1:22 DOWN GOES CHRIS (unofficially, KO)

Pretty good showing for the kid but clearly out classed in foot speed and hand speed. And considering it was pacman a relentless assassin at least he has a decent chin. I think the stage was too big and the kid was nervous.

I hope he can get some better matches skill wise he can give some other fighters problems.
