Hmm. I admittedly didn't watch García vs. Granados (that night I was preoccupied with the Crawford vs. Khan RBR... but, strangely, I do remember seeing, if not raptly watching, a good chunk of this card: Ruiz vs. Dimitrenko, Casimero vs. Franco, and Roario vs. Cota...basically everything but the main event  ...assuming because it probably conflicted directly with ESPN's) - and the performance obviously made a very strong impression on you, but I ...just can't put that much stock in anything done versus Adrian Granados. He's a B- grade fighter with porous defense, and yeah he's durable, but hardly invincible (dropped half a dozen times combined against Imam, Salser, Gómez and Díaz and bloodied up and stunned like a million times versus Porter). Stylistically he's like a fruit-trimmed luau pig for DSG - somebody against whom Danny can pick and choose when he wants to come forward or lay off, because El Tigre at his most effective is still no danger to somebody as tough and fundamentally well-schooled as García. There's a huge difference between surviving a rallying surge by Granados and withstanding an ongoing deluge from someone lie a Manny Pacquiao.

That is good news for García fans, if he is learning how to variegate his overall structural approach in fights as the situation demands. Took him long enough. :sisi1 I'm just not sure adding that adaptive wrinkle to his game is enough to compensate and give him a shot at upsetting somebody that holds as favorable a hand of cards as Pac has been dealt in this match-up (see my earlier post).

I don't see it, personally. If you're right, though, it'll be another in your collection of very insightful underdog picks (regardless of you voting Pac in the poll, or whether you end up picking him in Kirk's league or whatever).

side-note: at 9:15 of the García vs. Granados ...dear lord, are his twin sisters just sublimely hot or what? :scared1 (we can say that now, they're 18 :D)

...and yet One-Time, whose strength was h2h proven 50-50 with Swift's, wasn't?

Don't know what makes me feel more nauseous

Danny's Dumb and Dumber ridiculous haircut

His grotesque ring attire and complete lack of CCA

His dad's Gonzo the muppet/Tony Montana hybrid stupid face

Him having a win over Lucas

Or the thought of him having a win over Manny

How about the fact that if you wanted to marry either Sianney or Angelise, he would legally be your brother? :vomiton:

I guess the Redkach fight will be informative - more so the longer it goes. If he gets blown out early it doesn't scream that DSG is a beast necessarily, as Redkach is a) super easy to hit, b) a lightweight, and c) was knocked out early by Zlatičanin and Molina.

If we see a nuanced performance with Danny effectively playing matador and dissecting Redkach and then stopping him late after winning every round, that would actually be more impressive to me (and more worrisome for Pac) than simply outlasting him in a quick slug-fest, as we know Danny's chin will hold up (and Ivan's probably won't).

You reckon Danny will hit the deck at least once against the Senator?

Eh, maybe he will and maybe he won't. Either way he's going to get outlanded like WHOA.

Pacquiao beat Thurman who beat Gracia so Pacquiao will beat Gracia. Simple as that.

I hate when people duck their mandatories. He should be fighting Yorkidding Ugotas.
