His last fight was at 135lbs Lightweight, he had visible love handles, and he also did at 130lbs Super Featherweight, I genuinely believe he can easily make 126lbs Featherweight still, and wouldn’t be surprised if he could still get down to Super Bantamweight, albeit not easily, if you have love handles at a certain weight, you can easily drop 2 weight divisions, considering you’re also cutting water weight for the weigh in.
Being soft here and there don't mean no struggles at the scales. Some handle draining better than others, everyone should operate at a weight they feel most competitive at or where they can get the most money with little weight compromise.
