That was a great dominating performance from Rodríguez against Melvin Lopez. He’s such a smooth, crafty operator and sharp puncher while throwing beautiful combinations. His style is just nice to watch. People seem to have forgotten just how good he really is despite the loss to a generation talent like Inoue. He also got robbed blind against Gaballo as well. I think he’ll most likely be the man at bantamweight now that Inoue has moved up. There’s nobody else in his weight class that can beat him IMO.
Hear hear. A smooth operator. Deserves more respect for the way in which he's bounced back after Inoue.
I always considered him to be the 2nd best at 118. He has beautiful combinations and precise unwasted movement.
Good fighter and I like his style. Inoue's two KDs and finish of him were beautiful. This content is protected
Yeah but his right hand was defo making Inoue wary. Inoue has considered him to be one of the best fighters in the World Boxing Series.
Emmanuel Rodríguez will meet his match when he faces the other Emmanuel Rodriguez in the division. Edit: Nevermind. The other Emmanuel Rodriguez got knocked out in May.
At the same time though, he dodged a bullet when Nery tried to pull the weight game on him and Rodriguez refused the fight. Wise decision IMO.
