He changed his style completely. He is scared to get hit and ran most of the fight. I mean fair enough he doesn't want to get KO'ed again.

I'll be the judge of that.

Still, when is this going to begin? Tomorrow? 2021? 2024?

I think you are a being a bit harsh.

He looked bad because Rodriquez was playing catch me if you can and he did well with his new found style. His usually a come forward fighter. Watch his fights. He was scared to trade with Gaballo, evidently.Heck, he went toe-to-toe with inoue.

But Quabali is a sock em kind of fighter. He will trade with Gaballo and probably get KTFO himself!

CVH was about to get knocked out violently. And quickly. Hopefully they don’t bother running it back. Pointless. Time to toss Boots into the deep end. Dude is ready.

SHO has gone to ****, it´s embarrassing.
    And it´s getting worse.

Hell, they even managed to get ******* to call this fight questionable. The way commentators handle a fight, really does dictate the public opinion on the fight outcome and it´s narrative.

I do agree that rodriguez fighting on the backfoot didnt make this an exciting fight but i still hasnt seen anything from gaballo that says he deserved this win. I had it a draw at best

The judges did and my line of thought is in line with what they saw. Agressive, to be fair. Gaballo was landing shots. He was missing, yes. But landing here and there with solid shots. Which made Rod retreat immediately he felt the POWER.

It was a close fight. But I tend to favor the fighter who wants it. They are both challengers. Rod doesn't get privileges in this fight. He is not the A -side.He can't go in this fight stealing rounds with running and hitting. He is not VOID.

Honestly i was disgusted how Rodriguez fought. He was negative on his bike. He wasn't like this against Moloney and Inoue.

He totally bamboozled Gaballo with that and made him look bad. He didn't run, he just made him miss and made him pay.

I agree. I think that was a terrible decision. Gaballo hardly landed clean at all. Rodriguez displayed a very mature performance, slipping, partying and blocking most of Gaballo’s work. His timing was excellent too, frequently landing an accurate shot in the middle of Gaballo’s flurries.

    118-110 Rodriguez matches my card.

I didn’t score the Payano fight but I felt like he was hard done by too but I could be wrong.

    Edit: not it doesn’t, I had 117-111.

I was being extremely generous to Gaballo in the close rounds and had it 116-112 to Rodriguez. Gaballo just has no clue in there. Don't know where CST got the idea that Manny was running, I believe what he saw was called creating angles using shifts and pivots and being defensively responsible against a guy moving in straight lines. Gaballo was just getting countered to no end and was on jelly legs from jabs multiple times and that right hurt him a few times too, Rodriguez never looked hurt. Gaballo's a real hypejob. I eagerly await his imminent sparking out.
I was impressed with Rodriguez's sharpness, those slip-counters were seamless. You can see why he was a champ.
Payano was most certainly hard done by but it was admittedly quite close in a few rounds. Awful scorecards though.
