If Steward has got cancer and wanted to keep it private, then it's pretty shitty for someone to talk to the press about it.
Didn't they say on the PPV the other night that he was at home and not feeling well? That's why Roy was there. Hope it's not that.
http://www.proboxing-fans.com/full-...feated-prospects-alvarez-bizier-rivas_091912/ "Unfortunately, Stevenson's trainer and manager Emanuel Steward is not involved in his preparation having recently been hospitalized. He will undergo surgery at a hospital in Chicago this week."
I think it is possible he could keep it private if he wanted to. He is 68 years old training a huge, powerful guy. If he said he was getting a bit too old for this. That he just wanted to oversee Wlads training without working so much hands on. I wouldn't think **** he's got cancer. I'd think he is scaling back towards retirement. Besides older people get health problems, even if he was hospitalized for short periods it could be covered up as something minor. Anyway he may not care that people know. I just though it was strange to hear it from a french website, rather then an official announcement. If true, I send my best wishes to him.
They all can get pretty nasty. My sister had breast cancer that was in remission for 5 years. Then it came back in here bones. Very painful. She prayed for a quick end. Her prayers were answered.
