Anything but Wild Card is good for him.
Pac/Margo made a permanent impression on him and that's what he's been hacking ever since.

It's not that I'm a fan of Khan, but he just needs to stop fighting with his ego. Just because you can through a five punch combo, it doesn't mean you should. He needs to go back to basics. Fight behind the jab, use effective footwork, and learn when a punch is appropriate to throw.

I think Steward is the best choice for Khan.

Won't he be second fiddle to Wlad? which is one of the reason he want to leave roach, doesnt want to be behind Pac with coach time

When will you people learn that this comes down to the Chin and Khan doesn't have one. He also doesn't have savage power to keep his opponent honest like Wlad does so I don't want to even hear those comparisons. Khan with Steward would still get the same results which is brutal and embarrassing KO's.

No opponent is going to give Khan any respect in the Ring they are going to walk right through his pitter pat McFlurries and go right for that Glass Jaw. Khan is a dead man walking at this point. He can't fight and has nothing to protect that Glass Jaw. None.

Steward won't be able to help him. Neither would Eddie Futch, Ray Arcel, or Angelo Dundee. It isn't the trainer that is the problem it is Khan and his Glass Jaw. How can you people not see this?

Steward said that Khan did nothing wrong when he got caught against Garcia.

If he couldn't even spot the problems, how is he going to help Khan?

I've been sayin this for months. Steward is best for Khan. Yes Khan needs to sit on his punches more, but do it from the outside and using angles, not in front of his opponent. I think Khan got overconfident. He needs to learn to take his time on regrouping from a knockdown. Take a knee.

Kronk style for Khan is the best style for him.

Help from the best pro trainer in the sport when you are coming off a career threatening loss? That can't possibly be a bad option.

If Amir passes that opportunity up he's ****ing stupid.

So if his trainer is not the issue, why would he change him directly after a loss?

Do you not remember him leaving his new trainer last time directly after the Prescott loss?

Given Khan's inability to blame himself for anything, and given the fact that every time he's been KOd he's looked for a new trainer, can your tiny brain not put two and two together?

I'm sorry that your hero turned out to be not what you thought he was, but name calling just makes you look bitter and angry.

The problem is more technical discipline and attention than it is style of the trainer. Steward may give him the former, but considering he has Wlad, the latter isn't there- he'd still be second tier.

rather than ego...i think it's insecurity. he feels the need to "prove" his chin. he feels the need to "prove" he can take one to land to land one. he needs the arrogance to "bore" his way to victory without taking stupid risks...like wlad has learned to under steward. he does have the tools.

tbh i hope he doesn't. i like that his mentality makes his fights a crap-shoot. more fun that way.

I think he should stay with Roach, get Ariza back as strength and conditioning coach then start avenging his losses. Starting with Bredis Prescott, then Lamont Peterson, then Danny Garcia. Should he win all them he gets back to top level status.
