Don't go confusing things with first hand observations. It is not the ESB way. :D

I'd really like to know what some of these guys credentials are to make the statements they make.

The hatred for Wlad, Manny hell even me has hit an all time high on ESB. I feel like all I do is defend myself over and over. Even I get the attacks now. I guess this is what happens when you are hands down the BEST IN THE WORLD:yep:yep:yep

E-Man Steward was on the money in the Clottey-Cotto fight too. The moment when he laughed at Lampley's nuthuggery was priceless.

Steward does a good job. He is way above Atlas any day.

Steward is training Vlad. He trained Lewis. He trained Hearns. Hilmer Kenty, has trained Holyfield, Oscar, so many fighters. Atlas trained Grant! LOL!

What Manny does is he overreacts to everything and is too quick to pull the trigger on his observations... a fighter will do badly in the 1st two rounds and Steward will already proclaim him the loser before he has time to adjust. Not a very optimistic fellow.

This is what I was getting at. He exaggerates what's going on in the ring drastically...He basically proclaimed Clottey the winner in clottey-cotto without letting the fight play out and he did the same thing with this fight.

Yeah, he does that all the time, and it's gets comical to a certain point because he can make those kinds of observations up to three time fight... basically calling the fight over multiple times before it's really over and done with. It's as if Manny doesn't know that fghters can adjust and underdogs sometimes win fights too.

I think Steward is great. It's like the people on this forum have never watched a B.A.D. with Lennox on the call. Now, he's terrible. ...

Kellerman has improved also. The less he babbles and the more he focuses on the big picture of the sport, the better he is. Merchant definitely has a crusty style that I've enjoyed over the years, but Max follows the sport much more closely.

Yep. I think it was the Berto-Collazo fight, one of Lennox's worst nuthugging jobs ever, which is saying a lot, even for him. Pathetic.

Manny was right on in both the Clottey-Cotto fight and the Margo-Cotto fight. He clowned and owned Lamps in the Margo-Cotto fight. It was terrific.

I like Manny Steward as a commentator. He is honest and doesn't get too biased towards the HBO marquee fighters like Lampley, doesn't talk out his ass like Kellerman, and doesn't get lost in his own thoughts like Lennox or Merchant.

I especially liked his commentary in the Cotto vs Clottey fight. He was very honest and had Clottey winning, despite Cotto being the hyped HBO fighter. I too had Clottey winning.
