I believe it is very hard to say who would win between Ali and Lewis. I believe that if they fought back in Ali era when it was fifteenth rounds then Ali would have a good chance of winning. Reason being is that Lewis is far to heavy to fight a fifteenth round fight.

But in the era of 12 round fights, I think Lewis would beat Ali, Lewis is to big and too strong.

Ali typically weighed 220lb on his best form while Lewis, around 250lb so Ali would be giving away around 30lb. I'm not going to let the Ali legend dictate my judgement. Lewis vs Ali would have been very competitive and close. Both could find ways to win. Lewis could very well edge Ali on points. I can actually see the more mobile Cassius Clay having it easier against him.
