Educate me on Emmett Linton please. I have watched a couple of his fights, but don't know much about him. Could he have achieved more?
As i recall he was the guy who put the final fight nail into Don Curry's Career, of course Don was a pale Shadow by then. Emmett seems to be one of those guys had some promise but for whatever reason never had the consistancy to break through, Management or Dedication problems perhaps ?
Little bit of both.So him fight Skipper Kelp in Ams and get stopped. Linton was fast southpaw who could have gone further but management/dedication kinda messed him up and he lost a couple of key fights that held him back.
