I hope everyone realises this takes nothing away from his legacy, just like seeing Ali humbled by Holmes doesn't mean Ali isn't a top 5 ATG. Roy is still the man.
I don't think Jones wants to fight anymore and I don't blame him. You can tell by the way he was speaking he's not hungry for it anymore, he's had an extremely long career I don't fault him if he ends it now
Really feel for Roy there. Seemed very human and somber. What a great fighter he was. My god, but he was amazing in there. I never expect, in my lifetime, to see a man of his size move the way he could. I wish him a happy retirement and sincerely hope he chooses to return to broadcasting.
y ?? did you see his baby's mama ?!?!?! dame she fine !!! but seriously he KOed other fighter and eventually it become your turn.. The only people who feel sorry for RJJ are the one who thought he was a fraud in the first place.
What the hell are you talking about??? Im a career Roy Jones fan and I feel sorry that he has to go out the boxing game like this. I hope he enjoys his retirement. He is definitely an All Time Great.
I like Jones but he how he gets a pass here is ridiculous. The guy comes down in weight and beats Tarver. Everyone says oh it's the weight, it affected him. Then they have a rematch and he gets KTFO. What now? He's shot. Wow so he went from being almost shot already and dehydrated vs Tarver and beat him, to not being dehydrated anymore and a little more past it and got KTFO in 2. Excuses. Tarver was difficult for him.
