There are 3 great fighters at featherweight, Juan Manuel Lopez, Yuriorkis Gamboa, and Chris John, and only a fight between them will determine who is on top. I'm guessing that the Super 6 Final will be between Andrew Ward and Arthur Abraham. I really don't know who will win between them. Lucian Bute unfortunately will not have the opportunity to prove himself the best at Super Middleweight. At Light Welterweight, I really don't know. Too many big names, but I doubt any of them will be fighting each other this year. Which is not bad since they will be building themselves up for the superfights next year and beyond.
i was close to putting mitchell down. but i believe his fight with katsidis will be a close affair and i wouldnt rate katsidis at the top now so after a struggle with him i dont see mitchell being on top.
H. Wladimir Klitschko/Vitali Klitschko C. Marco Huck LH. Chad Dawson SM. Andre Ward/Arthur Abraham M. Kelly Pavlik LM. Paul Williams/Sergio Martinez W. Manny Pacquiao/Floyd Mayweather Jr. LW. Timothy Bradley L. Edwin Valero
Why the heck is everyone putting Huck at the top of the cruiserweight division? Cunningham DOMINATED Huck when they fought already. And frankly, when Huck's mandatory against Lebedev comes due, he'll probably lose that one as well. H - Wlad C - Cunningham LHW - Dawson SMW - Bute (Kessler beats Froch, Froch beats Abraham, Ward has weak opponents, so Bute stays on top) MW - Pavlik LMW - Williams (Pavlik-Williams never happens this year) WW - Mayweather (beats Mosley, then Pacquiao just before the end of the year) JWW - Bradley LW - Anthony Peterson (Marquez will retire or move up permanently before the years is out; Valero moves up to 140; Peterson destroys Soto on the Cotto undercard and gets one more good win) JLW - Guerrero FW - Gamboa (Gamboa-Juanma never happens because the matchmakers think Juanma would lose badly, but he eventually fights John and beats him) SBW - Poonsawat BW - Hasegawa SFL - Donaire (Vic finally gets his rematch, gets starched again) FL - Kameda (who joins some P4P lists after beating Naito, Pong and Sakata back to back to back) LFL - Solis (this is the hardest call for me of all of them. I think Calderon's time is just about up. He loses to Casimero, who then loses himself. Solis beats Batawang, Tamara and Viloria in a rematch to get back to the top) STR - Joyi (beats Garcia, Gonzalez moves up because he can't make weight)
yea i find that hard to see. i think froch fans are overlooking kessler, i think kessler will beat him
I consider Brickhaus one of the best posters here when it comes to having actual knowledge. I wasn't questioning him on his pick as much as hoping he would give his reasonings for his pick.
