Juan Diaz is Mexican American, not Mexican. Mexican are Saul Alvarez, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Alfonso Lopez, Abner Mares. Mexican Americans are Brandon Rios, Jose Benavidez, James Delarosa, Jesse Vargas. Like saying Joshua Clottey is African American.

This is a 3year post and Juan Diaz certainly had me fooled back then. I remember at the time some picking him over Mayweather at 135lbs

Mexicos' Humberto Soto is the best fighter on the planet.
Soto has beaten Pac, Barrera, Marquez, Robert Guerrero, Valero, all by Default.
They all chickened-out and avoided Soto.

But the reason that Mexico doesn;t have a big name champion is becasue Affirmative Action is being given to boxers like Pac, Floyd, etc.

Politics kept Floyd safe away from Margarito.
Politics kspt Pac safe away from Humberto Soto.
Politics helped Mosley get away and cheat with EPO Steroids in his win over margarito.
    etc.

Soto scared Puerto rico's roman Martinez into not fighting him, just like he scared Pac, Linares, valero and so many others into not fighting him.

Soto is a 3-time world champion in 3 different weight classes.

    How many can do that??
Has there ever been a puerto rican 3 division champion??

and as far as the term "mojado",
If you knew Mexican history, you would know that Mexicans are the true legit landowners here in N. America.
Everyone else tresspassed onto Mexican territory in the 1840's, to steal Mexico's land

and billions of dollars of Gold (ala The Gold Rush), so that the US later got rich, of Mexico's resources and supports a lazy minded-hypocrite island (puerto rico).
