I think Ch5 were relying on FURY to get the casual viewer into boxing.
Like I said Fury is much well known to wider audience now than he was before the Chisora fight.
If you went out on the street and asked a number of people who Tyson Fury was then many more would be able to tell you who he was than before the Chisora fight.
Ch5 don't just want the boxing fan to tune in but they want the Big Brother audience too!;)

Hope they continue with it. I love seeing Al Bernstein on British tv as well. Genuinely nice guy

Fury said his next fight is November 12th, same date as Pac v Jmm I think? Seems to me that they've got another C5-Primetime double header planned.

A million is good for C5 no matter what the event. They'll be pleased with that, especially as a lot of boxing fans would have given it a miss.

As well as being totally honest and very knowledgable. An all round excellent analyst and commentator. I wish Sky had him.

    reality tv killed television..........FACT

if all that shite wasnt on the fight would have got bigger numbers but stupid ****ing women and kids want to watch the pointless **** that makes the cartoons in their head flick the animations on the pages in the corner of their minds.

Funny thing is, I like many have moaned like **** about SKY & the boxing, "Oh please, get boxing back on terrestrial tv" & then I sat there, watching a blank screen with an odd star wars box set ad flashing on, phining my mate "is your c5 working?" & then the fight comes on, just in time to see Fury land a few big shots & the fight stopped!

Humbled me a little bit that, makes you realise how slick & professional SKY are, but its early days for 5, & I hope they stick at it, cos as Tyson Fury himself would say "Rome wasnt built in a day"
