i think when Floyd switched to the high guard while pressuring Mosley...it took away mosley's right that he was looking to land, also the counters where always in the back of his mind because Floyds the best in the game with them and ontop of that he found out he was not the faster of the two and Floyd was the faster fighter.....after he got thoroughly outboxed in round three right ater he rocked Floyd i think that caught him off guard to see Floyd come right back in his face.

Shane was completely gassed by the mid rounds. Go watch the fight again.

I very rarely abuse anyone on here but you are a Moron! You listen to some boxers BS excuses rather than watch what went on(maybe u didn't even watch the fight) Mosley landed flash and just stood there and hardly throw another punch. The guy was ****ed after two round! You can go Three Rounds ROFL

I don't think so. A young Mosley would have KO'd Floyd. Go watch some video of a prime Shane. It's like a night and day compared to what he was last night.

Mosley was gasping for air after just a few rounds. To me that was unbelievable. From that point on the fight was dead because you need to have that high punch output to be competitive with Floyd.

No, Mosley did not gas out!

    I agree with the Floydettes.

Mosley simply gave up starting the 3rd round because he was being countered silly starting 3rd round.

I never knew that that was the real Mosley, until now. After being countered by about 10 punches, Mosley simply gave up and decide to just survive the rest of the 12 rounds.

Thank you Floydettes for opening my eyes.

    Tired and old.

Stated it months before, and EZE had a go at me.

Still old, no matter what you idiots say.

First thing to go when a fighter ages : stamina.

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure it out, unless you are a Floydette, then there is no degree that will help.

He was dead tired after two rounds after that he spent the rest of his energy jiggling and touching gloves with Floyd,i thought Mosley had more pride than that.

alright assholes since you guys can't comprehend logic here are some stats.

    Compubox Stats
Shane and Floyd threw about the same number of punches but the huge difference was that Floyd connected on more. Floyd landed 208/477 punches for a 44% connection, while Shane landed 92/452 punches for a 20% connection.

This disparity was clear as the fight went into the middle rounds. Shane couldn’t find an opening to land his punches while Floyd seemed to start landing everything he threw.

Floyd out-jabbed Shane all night. In fact, there were times when Shane’s head was snapped back by Floyd’s jabs. In the later rounds, Shane was trying to get in and lock up but Floyd jabbed his way into complete control. Mayweather landed 40% of his jabs compared to Shane’s 16%.

In the power department, where Shane was supposed to have the advantage, Floyd connected 123/267 power punches for a staggering 46%. Shane could only land 46/169 for a 27% connection.

They both threw almost the same amount of punches so if shane is labeled tired for not throwing then floyd should too. MAYBE THEY ARE BOTH TIRED.

    idiots

obviously mosley is not in his prime. but he didnt get tired against margarito, did he?

some of you have to ask yourself a question.

if you say mosley got tired, de la hoya got tired, zab judah got tired, what did all three of those men have in common. lets see if you can figure that out.
