    Margarito did not remove the padding from his gloves. It's entirely different.

    when i say loaded gloves i'm just meaning tampered with gloves .. i'm well aware the guys **** was removed...but thats what i'm saying when the gloves are tampered with **** happens ... whose to say chavez didn't **** his gloves up when the one man died a few years ago .. i mean whose to say? .. why can bob foster break someones skull with a regular glove .. and then a guy like chavez kills another man chavez who has no where near the power of a foster...

    thats the **** i'm talking about ..we don't know! ...nobody does .. and thats what scares the ****ing hell outta me ..how many of these men are going in there with jacked gloves because their promoter has the comish in his pocket ..

    A few points;

    1) the substance in the wrap does not matter. What matters is its effect. Since the subsance makes the hands harder it can be considered a weapon. TOny's trainer agreed that the substance hardened the gloves. He also gave a lame excuse about other fighters inthe Gym using his bag and that he just used some old guaze(yeah, right on both hands). He did this to attempt dispell any attempt at claiming intent. This is important because in order to claim attempted assault and battery with a leathal weapon you have to prove intent. So what do we have, we have a corner that agrees that the substance is dangerous in the gloves but trying to avoid criminal charges.

    2) You say that no one disagrees with the fact that Tony's actions were more dangerous than SSM. If that is the case we all agree that the puishment for tony should be more harsh. you say that the two things are equally illegal. If all transgration were equal then all punishments should be equal. Therefore, if you jaywalk you should get the death sentance right? If you cannot agree with the previous statement then you have to agree that different crimes must and should be treated differently under the law. Also the punishment should fit the crime.

    3) Therefore, if you agree that both; a) Tony's actions with harden gloves were more dangerous than SSM. b) the punishment should fit the crime. c) Tony punishment should be more harsh than SSM
