When did Mitchell ever stun Mayweather? I don't believe Judah did either. In reality, there was only one southpaw that Floyd struggled with. That was a fighter named Reggie Sanders. It was Floyd's second fight and it was a 4 rounder.

That's the point, you DON'T know what he will think or need to do, being unpredictable is what makes him a special fighter. He knows when to get aggressive, defensive or a little bit of both when he needs to,that's what makes him a great fighter, that kind of natural ability is God given, it doesn't come just like that otherwise all will do the same to be successful and make shitloads of money in the sport.

Seeing how both will adapt to trouble one another is what the majority of fans want to see in this one. For all we know it could be Mayweather the one backing up Pacquiao. In boxing you just never know what could happen especially when you have two ATG quality opponents mixing it up.

Till this day I can't believe how people overlook this, even people on ESB at the time were shocked at hell doing RBR of the fight. That also made A LOT of fans here pick Judah to crush Mayweather based on that before Judah ran into Baldomir. Here you go.

I didn't see him getting stunned. Are you talking about the combo Sharmba landed at the end of the second round? He landed flush on Floyd and stopped him in his tracks, but he wasn't stunned.

I never said it hurt him, just said it stunned him. Besides, Mayweather went into that one reckless and looking to finish it ASAP, I'm definitely not expecting him to fight Pac that way.

No, because it's a completely different fight obviously. But if he fights Pacquaio the way he fought the other southpaws of his career, I can see him getting dominated. I've said it many times in other posts about how much trouble Floyd is going to have against Pac. His style is not well suited against southpaws, it's simply a fact. That isn't to say he does bad against southpaws, it only means that he has to fight a different style against those fighters.

Look at the way he fights Shamba Mitchell, Corley and Judah.. standing straight in front of them flat-footed, potshotting, pressing the action. Do you really think he can get away with that against Pacquaio? I see him getting his head ripped off.

Maybe he'll try a more hit-and-run strategy, but that may prove futile as well. He can't use his favorite lead left hook punch.. he can't jab to the body. He has to open himself up to get to pac by throwing right hands .. and one punch at a time isn't going to do it.

I agree with you Scar, this is a 50/50 fight right now. Anyone who says either fighter wins easy are kidding themselves.. It's a tough matchup for both.

If you have been following Floyd's career you know he is smatter fighter then than that.. Like I said he will not try and out muscle Pac the same way Hatton and Cotto did..

The great thing about floyd he will find a way to land a lead left hook and he can do that buy jabbing and hooking off the Jab which he does very nicely. If he get his right hand going he can faint a right hand jump in with a hook, but you know he will do it only if he see a opening.

Pac has a real good chance of winning based on his last performances, but you can't discount the consistency of solving a fighter style the way Floyd does ether.

I definitely don't discount Floyd winning this fight Pit. Like I said, I see it 50/50 right now.

I just get annoyed by people saying Floyd's going to beat him easy. I don't even think thats in the realm of possibility, to be honest.

Floyd's offense is very effective against southpaws, but his defense not as much as against orthodox fighters.

Here is Judah troubling Floyd with the exact same type of combination that PAcquiao absolutely excells at.

I don't think anyone said Marquez would beat Floyd easy. Nor Baldomir, Judah, Mitchell, Gatti, etc.

I thought Marquez would win 5 or at the very most 6 rounds, and that was at the catchweight. I give Floyd alot of credit for winning almost every round. But no way did people say Marquez was gonna beat him easy.
