I played around with this at the gym. I found that standing this way with the feet, it's EASIER to keep the feet closer together and not get so wide. And also, by turning that lead foot 90 degrees, the shoulder turns with it. this helps to keep you even more from getting square.

Kind of felt awkward, but gonna give it a go. Lateral movement is the most difficult right now.

sorry not exactly sure what you lot mean by toes at 90 degrees. 90 degrees to what?

what is that last video about Scrap?

Been working on keeping my feet closer together and have felt a lot better, more fluid. Not sure if they're related but just a lot more compact and moving around the ring felt easier.

Yes, Scrap I also don't get what you mean 90 degrees? I point my front forward at the opponent (12 o clock) and my back foot is pointing 45 degrees at 2 o clock. I keep my weight on the balls of my feet as much as I can. Scrap, can you clarify if this is ok? Also, I DO NOT keep my back foot directly behind my front foot, its moved out such that there is a space between my two legs.

Matt, its a Routine, where one Foot cant go anywhere without the other. He makes it look easy, its not. It teaches what Foot should be used for Drive while the other gives Direction, better on a stepper 4" high more stable.

Toes want to be pointing as if its 3 O/clock Heels 1/2 inch of Floor, Knees Bent 10%. Makes everything primed for movement, Feet Shoulders Hips Knees. Gives great posture, plus gives more distance to turn the Feet when Punching, or Slipping Shots, Feet are as you describe, so the Backfoot had eyes the front Foot doesnt interfere, with its view.

So you mean left foot toes straight forward and right foot toes perpendicular Like an L shape? Doesn;t that feel a bit awkward? I always thought you were turned on so that your shouldercame across more making you a smaller target?

What exactly do you do in that drill scrap in dummy speak please.

It gives you a Better awareness of the Body, by the Feel through the Feet. Easier to Turn the Feet, more Balanced. Can show a Con much better, Feint. It also puts the TFL the muscle, Tendon, in a position too Fire and react Qiucker. So much easier to control the Shoulders, I know it takes practice, but well worth it.

Sorry, still unclear Scrap. With the lead foot, do you recommend pointing it forward at 12 o'clock or at 3 o'clock??

I think you mean what Matt said, I just want to make sure you aren't recommending both feet point at 3 o'clock.
