what are you taking prior to a workout? many athletes take caffeine drinks prior to a workout to give them needed boost. i just drink a sugarless red bull.
I used to put 2 shots of vodka in a gatorade, throw in some beta alanine, citrulline malate, creatine, and glutamine, then drink it before a workout.
I just eat properly throughout the day to give me an energy source. Before I work out I drink plenty water (comes right back out) and I'm left fully hydrated and performing at a good level.
