That seems harsh... not watched the fight but I'd hardly say Doherty is a "bum". Who do Scotland have left now? I've not managed to see any of it due to working but saw on Facebook that McFadden went through. Seen a lot of losses for Team Scotland over the last day or two.
apologies for not updating the other home nations, but I dont really know anything about them so I just made this an ENG thread. I'll have a look now who is left EDIT: from whats on the BBC schedule, McFadden is the only male remaining from Scotland
No need to apologise mate. Just thought this would be the most appropriate thread to ask on. I've just checked and it looks as though Scotland have Reece McFadden and John Doherty both boxing for a minimum of bronze now, and Nathaniel Collins boxing later on today to join them. Not sure if my memory is failing me or not but doesn't seem as succesfull a games as Scotland had in Glasgow, maybe unsurprisingly with us being the host nation then. England seem to be doing well.
Wow.. can’t believe it. No disrespect to the Indian boxer but I rate French and thought he could breeze through this Thanks
I watched it, not sure if robbery is the right word but I thought Whittaker was going to get the nod. Docherty is no bum by any means, he is in team GB.
Collins lost to the Australian boxer earlier on. No not as successful as the previous Games, it was always going to be a big ask to match 2014. Still two boys left boxing for a place each in the final, good luck to them.
