Clarke just lost to Nyika at 91kg in a quality fight.

Clarke will be a handful in the pro ranks.

Nyika is a quality fighter from what ive seen, no shame in losing to him, especially if it was a quality fight

I'm a big fan of Nyika and thought that was a tight fight. The 1st 2 rounds could have gone either way, but Nyika did dominate the 3rd.

I was actually scared he wouldn't get the decision. This was much closer than some fights I have seen him not get the nod in.

Nyika does have great fitness, in WSB he is always taking over after the 3rd round

Clarke put on a lot of pressure and landed a lot of heavy blows. These fights have been fought at a rapid pace, seems like a 4min round the amount of punches that are thrown.

Nyika fights Whateley, the aussie, next up for the gold. Apparently Whateley may have gotten gift in his semis. Nyika will have to be extra vigilant.

I watched it, kind of (tvnz coverage went to ad break and we missed the entire 2nd round) It didn't appear to be a robbery but the Indian did get deducted a point for a late punch that I never saw.

The Indian was lighting him up at times but he was a little bit lazy at the same time and the aussie crowd was cheering everything Whateley landed. The Indian didn't know what defense was, he never tried to block a punch he was just trying to use his legs and reflexes. His punch picking was quite effective though, he rattled Whateley a few times.

8 of the 20 finalists are from the UK (40%).which is pretty good but usually it's more than that

Some of the divisions have poor quality.. for example Super heavyweight is an absolute easy walk for Frazer Clarke, there is nobody remotely even decent apart from him. and light flyweight and flyweight are weak and you only need one win to medal lol.

Should be more than that, some have underachieved and they know that I bet
