Lads, as a long time poster who has been forced to start a new account, I have become increasingly disturbed by the English-Polish animosity that has built-up over the last few years on ESB and I've decided to address it in this thread.

This bitter feud seems incomprehensible to me and I would like offer an olive branch between both nations.

Am I alone here? Does anybody else think this beef has gone too far? Can we not find some common ground? Both nations are renowned for having disgraceful glass jaws - can we not bond over this at the very least?

Come on guys, lets vent our issues and resolve them in this thread. Then we can once again move forward as allies and Euro-Level friends like in the old days. :cheers.

Lol it started when Haye gave Wlad a BLOWJOB, and us Poles were talking about future match up Adamek/Vitali. And Brits got mad at ESB for calling England the capitol of glass jaws. They wanted to distract ESB attention from English chin and attacked the Poles clamming we have glass chins. Adamek, Frochski, and Wolak disprove this theory though.

    Lmao your name is Trollaccount.

Froch is British, I'm sorry but a polish grandmother and a guy who is known to say silly things in a press conference does not add ski to his name.

America dislike the British and Europe hate the British it is standard we are going to argue like little kids.

    Incorrect

    Froch's Paternal grandparents are Polish

His dad was Polish, Froch is half Polish

In most cultures, you inherit you're ethnicity from you're father.. An obvious exception would be Jews

He changed his last name to make it sound more British. His Y chromosome is Polish :hey

Its like claiming Calzaghe is not Sardinian

Come on Dembek, nobody is saying the Poles haven't be provoked, there has been a lot of glass mind and glass jaw jibes but it works both ways. Not only have the Poles pointed out a lot of fragile mandibles the British are afflicted by but you guys have also made some very offensive comments over national identity i.e. any non-white fighters aren't English. You have to understand that England is a progressive and multi-cultural nation. We don't view nationality as a matter of blood lines. Is Thierry Henry not French? Is Mike Tyson not American?

But lets not dwell on these issues. Lets move forward and squash this beef!!

Poles pointed out that the majority of good British boxers are not Ethnically British. This is offensive? The truth offends you?

I'm trying to mediate between the mutual antagonism of two nations and that leads you to believe I'm a racist. Bizarre...

I was just pointing out a cultural convention

For instance. According to you're logic, Barack Obama has no African ancestry. He is a White American. His Kenyan dads ethnicity does not make him African :patsch

Yes, it is offensive because there is no such thing as an ethnic nation. There is ethnicity but than transcends national boundaries. For example, the British are a hybrid of Celts, Germans, Saxons, Vikings and so on. Do you think there is a static blood line that is solely Polish? Of course not.

England is a multi-cultural country that is made up of many blood lines and cultures and, in the eyes of the majority, we are all English together. If Poland ever becomes a major economy in the world you might come to understand this, although I don't mean that in a patronising way.

He is American, no one is talking about skin colour, the slightly edited comment below completely explains what I'm saying.

Again, you accused me of being possibly racist. Where is your evidence? I admit to not liking the Polish view over ethnicity, which I addressed above, but the reason I dislike it is because I find it racist. :patsch

Dr Mo has a Polish glass mind.
