England is much richer than Poland and better at sports. That's a fact. The US is richer and better at sports than England as well. It's nothing to be ashamed of. It's a simple numbers game. Poland has produced some awesome fighters at the end of the day, as has every nation that has put its mind seriously to the sport. Silly to big up or downplay anyone to make yourselves feel better.

Poland has 38 millions and doing very good in boxing to compare to countries like china,indie,or even canada who are much bigger.
therefore i do not understand all this insults and mocking from Britain that no other country here on esb is subject to....

For one thing, Poland is right in the middle of things, between Germany, Sweden, Russia, Austria, Hungary, and Turkey (which are all countries that have invaded Poland historically). For another, Poland is a Catholic country, but Russia is Orthodox and northern Germany and Sweden are Protestant--this has resulted in invasions, as well.

Also, Poland historically, is an area of conflict because of flat terrain and the lack of natural barriers on the North European Plain.

Last, Poland is prime real estate. It has fertile land for agriculture, good water and mineral sources, timber, etc., and a climate that is not *too* extreme. Basically, Poland has been very desirable on that basis as well.

Were does it say that you are pure blood? It doesn't.
You have been invaded over centuries, the vast majority of europe has over the last 1000 years. As such people have settled in different parts.

To me if someone comes to England to better themselves and contributes to society, who the **** are you to question there legitimacy and ethnicity?

I know why you guys have this attitude because I have been to Poland a couple of times in the last 10 years and I don't recall seeing many if any ethnic minorities, ergo you fear what you do not know. I grew up and worked in Manchester and now live near London so I have grown up in a multicultural society and I am proud of that. We are far from perfect with social problems and binge drinking and other ****, but show me a country where everything is perfect there isn't one.

I have been fortunate in that I have traveled all over the world and I appreciate when other cultures do things a better way than us. It is what makes the world an incredible place.

Take away your limited view of the world and it becomes a place of opportunity, not a place of fear and hate.

Your belief is scientifically and morally flawed, you merely showed me a report stating that Europeans can be identified through DNA, not that European or polish blood is pure.

You guys get **** from Brittards because quite a few of you have repeatedly displayed racism, we have racist's too. but the majority of us Brits despise these people because all they do is spread hate through ignorance and dogma, in today's world the last thing we need is start race wars, we need to work together as people. Otherwise we are destined to repeat the **** we had last century with World Wars.

 

There was never a need to drag up history it doesn't concern any of us.

but seriously most of the people making racist comments don't represent the UK, Poland has produced a few good fights, Britain a few more, and America a lot more, it is because of the focus towards boxing in these countries and the stage of development of the country,

Head to head in terms of boxing with none of these factors and you have to say the UK are way ahead.

However, as much as i don't know about Poland, the fact that some many people from there come here for work suggests me it is not very developed or at least not anywhere near UK, plus isn't the living cost dead low? and I have no idea how focused they are on boxing.

But you will most likely find with these factors each country is getting a correct amount of good boxers coming out.
