just like a every day spar down at out local gym. kidding kidding,i remember this fight, was ****ing class
Cheers Mand, great find and credit to Wayne for posting it after the pasting he took in the 3rd round :yep It's fantastic to see that, despite sadly not meeting in the pro's, these two did actually duke it out! Shame to see there's only the Martinez fights on YouTube of Williams' pro career. I have his first dust up with Samuels on DVD somewhere; I'll try and get it uploaded sometime soon :good
:deal Two fringe/world class fighters in making there i believe both had the ability to win world titles. The body punching clinic in adversity there from Williams was something to behold. Amazing comeback.
If you could Kos that be great mate :good, I've been looking for some of Richard's wins . Wanna do a few thread's on him and others. If anyone has the Williams vs Taylor and Williams vs Badea fights please upload them if you can :good.
Will do :thumbsup I have his fight with Taylor as well, might be a bit harder for me to find though - it's on a random disc that's in a pile of 100+ boxing DVD's that I have :yep:verysad
:yep:good Compare this to ABA's from other night and hardly anyone went to body. TBF even pro's neglect the body, nothing better then landing on body soft on hands and takes fight out your opponent :deal.
every wed night we go down local am gym,me and blue, who boxed as well,as a pro though, and a load of rugby boys, circuit training then sparring,i can only spar to the body, not allowed to the head, spoil me looks :hey, but the ammount of times i wish i could spar to the head instead cos it don't hurt as frigging much, every thursday morning the wife has to help ,me outa bed, bollocking me saying "how old are you now craig, too bloody old thats how old"
Top Man :good Protect the looks and tone the body , Is that Burnley Blue your on about?. Ain't seen him on here that much.
Quality scrap this between two guys who would go on to make waves as domestic-to-fringe World level. Alexander could really be hurt to the body, great showing from Williams there. I maintain that, despite the lack of world class wins on his record, Alexander is P4P one of the hardest British punchers of all time.
