Enlighten me- How is Kessler bigger than Pavlik?

    Pavlik has a much stronger jab, greater work rate, and is much bigger than kessler and a proven heart. His lanky build means he easily can handle going up and weight and he already has knocked out a seasoned champion. You just cant knock his credentials, he has done everything asked of him. And I understand he has been on the canvas before but I personally like I fighter who has shown the ability to get up dust himself off and pull a fight out of the fire. It builds character. With that said Joe Cal has great ring control, tricky angles, and fast hands. However his lack of power cant neutralize Pavlik's agression and Kelly stops him in the middle rounds.

    Well put mate:good Joe already knows this which is why he will hug Bhop for 12 rds and retire. Its too bad we won't be able to watch Pavlik give the whiplash treatment to Slappy Joe.

    You're high.

    Kessler is twice as big as Pavlik right now.
    Same height.. not the same skinny body type.

    I couldn't help but be a big fan of Pavlik from the very first time I seen him fight. Go Pavlik!!

    Pavlik will be a Super Middleweight soon. Probably late next year.

    Pavlik has certainly introduced a lot of new people to boxing. Lets hope that they become 'boxing' fans rather than just Pavlik fans.

    Right now? Are they still growing mate? **** outa here with that silly ****. Once you come down off your buzz you'll realise that Taylor and Kessler have identical body types. Is Taylor bigger than Pavlik?? Good job mate:good

    You're quite correct about his gaining of new fans, but I'm not so sure some of the absurd **** threads we see especially from new accounts aren't people who truly wish to discredit Pavlik by pissing everybody off at him and his true fans.

    While I'll not dispute most of what you said, Kessler did seem to be VERY bothered by getting hit. And we know Pav can bang.:deal

    I have followed boxing for a very longtime I just dont post much. I really wish we could see Kessler and Pavlik face to face because I am certain Pavlik is a lot bigger. Even the length of his arms would create a new dimension with a Joe Cal fight. The difference in size between Pavlik and Miranda was pretty drastic. I really believe the aggresive style of Pavlik and volume he throws would give Joe problems. I think we all can agree that Joe and Kelly have created a buzz that ultimately can only help the sport of boxing.

    The worst of the new posters is Paul Davis, but I dont think he has any agenda. He's just unadulterated pondscum who happens to have a bizzare grudge against Calzaghe.

    Some of the new Pavlik fans I believe don't as yet seem to know an awful lot about boxing (I sound pompous I know!) which is what leads me to suspect that KP is responsible for a new surge of interest in boxing in the States. I suppose putting up with a few dumb posts is a small price to pay.

    Whoa! Kessler is 320lbs??? You'd never know it looking at him. This really puts into perspective what Joe accomplished last night.

    Chicago, how can you logically explain how Kessler is better than Taylor. The bottom line is Taylor has fought Great opposition and reguardless of the outcome he has been more than competitive. You have to give credit where credit is due and Kessler's credentials cant even be mentioned in the same sentence as Taylor's. Case closed.
