Hes had 30 fights hes rated number 3 Welterweight behind the top 2 Spence, Crawford, let's see him get his shot.

Yeah it would be nice if he maybe fought someone like Staninios first, but none of these fighters or anyone in Welterweight division, is going to prepare him for Crawford or Spence or give him a really "Tough test".

Enough p**** footing around let's see Ennis fight the winner of Crawford/Spence.

Ain't going to happen unless Boots coming up to 154. Spence is moving to 154 after his fight with Crawford. The rematch clause is also set for 154 weight as well.

What about if Spence vs Crawford is a one sided fight or very emphatic victory that there is no need for a rematch ?

Well, it doesn't matter because the loser has 30 days to activate it. I know Spence has said he would fight Boots, but it would have to be after Crawford and at 154. So, if Spence wins, he's dropping the belts. This will allow the new 147 generation to go after the belts. I think Boots will rather start collecting those belts first before following Spence to 154.

Crawford should fight him regardless how the spence fight goes.
Boots can be his Floyd vs Canelo legscy investment type fight. He needs it with his weak ass resume.

Ennis would be one of the weakest names in crawford's resume today. His biggest achievement is "IBF interim champion" and he got it this year. I dont know how that could improve anyone's resume, tbh, let alone crawford's (or spence's)

Canelo had 2 belts on his waist and was 21 yo when he fought Mayweather. Not the same. Not even close to be the same.

Having said that, yes, I agree crawford should fight him. And Spence. Both.

H2H wise Ennis would be seen as by far Crawford's biggest test though at Welterweight.

I'm not sure if that's a good thing for crawford to go to 154, tbh. If he wins to Spence and he manages to be successful at 154 too, it would be just mindblowing. I dont believe it can happen, tbh (him being successful at 154, I mean).

Lol. NO. Ennis could start by fighting Porter, for example. Lets see how he fights on his backfoot, at least vs a semi-retired/fully-retired/shot pressure fighter like porter.

Shawn Porter retired though and hasn't fought since 2021, I don't think Ennis would get much credit for beating him at this point.

Ennis is also a bigger threat H2H than Porter was.

Theres only two other guys worth fighting for Ennis at this point, Staninios or maybe Thurman who himself is inactive and has only fought twice in 4 years. But I don't see that either name really prepares him for Spence or Crawford or does much for his standing.

Sometimes beating a younger talented boxer that ends up becoming a hofatg fighter can add to the aging boxers legacy.
Think Lennox vs Vitali, morales over pac or ali vs foreman.

All those names you named at least had a belt on his wait. Ennis has nothing.

Still, if he ends up with a great career it can add to his legacy. Like rjj vs bhop then for example.

Retired Porter who hasnt fought since 2021 would be the best fighter that Ennis had fought. He can start there. Not a bad beginning.

But I thought Porter announced his retirement after the Crawford fight ? I haven't heard anything about him fighting again.
