Enough is enough people. When you get past all the hype all the press conferences all the **** talking it's time to face reality and that is what I and a few others have said from the begining that PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Hatton period, it is what it is. I'm tired of this BS and can't take it anymore. Oscar had a better chance of beating PBF than Hatton does based on styles. I could see if PBF was fighting Williams or even Cotto and people pleading their cases both have a much better chance of beating PBF due to styles than Hatton. But to say Hatton by KO because PBF can't hurt a fly and Hatton will just run through PBF is ignorant. Especially since Hatton isn't the biggest puncher, strongest fighter, biggest fighter or best fighter PBF has ever faced. Hatton comes straight in often squared up with no guard and jab to work behind. Anyone that really knows the sport can see he will be wide open and picked apart with ease by a master counter-puncher and like PBF. His reach disadvantge is also an important factor that can't be overlooked, PBF will control the distance with his movement, speed and reach advantage. Ricky will be beaten to the punch again and again. Ricky is accustomed to fighting guys who are there to be hit or stand right in front of him. It's to his best interest because he needs that style in order for him to be succussful. Have you ever wondered why Hatton hasn't faced a slick defensive counter-puncher for so long? It's because he and his handlers know his limitations and that they will give him fits and he would get outboxed and exposed as somewhat one-dimensional. Ricky's style is tailormade for PBF and it's time that the huggers and PBF doubters realize this. I mean every PBF fight you get people doubting the man and everytime out it's the same result PBF by UD and this fight will be no different. He's #1 P4P for a reason and he will show you again on Dec 8th. Can PBF be beaten sure but Ricky Hatton isn't the man to do it.:deal
You can analyse this **** until you are blue in the face It's going to come down to more than one guy being a slick counter-puncher, and one being a pressure fighter You used a lot of words to say nothing particularly revolutionary, that we havn't heard before. You are not convincing me that Hatton isn't winning this fight
Your knowledge of the sport by your own admission is limited so just take what I just wrote and maybe you can't educate yourself for the future.:thumbsup
Kind of harsh. There are so many threads about this fight, so much **** being talked, misinformation (just read yesterdays threads), that a few of these arent so out of order. :|:|:|
Good just make sure you're here after the fight so I prove to everyone here that you really don't know how to breakdown a fight and don't know **** about the sport. Even when their are so many glaring holes in Hatton's style against PBF. But don't believe me look at history its shown that the boxer beats the puncher more times than not and you can't argue with that logic.:deal
As a way to alievate your boredom describe a course of action for Hatton to use to defeat Floyd and how it would play out. No resorting to 'PBF turns up dead' crap though plz
Simple if PBF breaks his hands early on in the fight, which is a possibility, Hatton has a legit chance of beating him. If Cortez allows Ricky to wrestle and not box PBF much like his hometown refs did in England he has a chance. Other than that I just don't see it. Ricky doesn't punch as hard as people make it seem to be Oscar hits much harder and PBF has underrated toughness and heart.
You're probably right with your analysis. I wished Ricky had stayed at his best weight junior-welter where he has an edge on everybody in strength and his short stature isn't such a liability. I think Hatton gets outboxed badly and I don't think I want to pay over 50 bucks to see his face torn apart. Instead I'll check out the K2 fights that are also showing on Dec 8th.
