It was a joke scorecard from O'Connor, mate and everyone has a right to be outraged. Any other situation and i would be telling you we've had enough threads on it.

I personally feel someone else should be in charge of adding up the scores. And the judges should be told to hand in scorecards at the end of every round and not the end of the fight.

I like that idea Slip. Everyone makes mistakes but what annoys me it's the same ****ing guys all the time.

You said it in another thread about views at ringside being different and your spot on about that. It does show you things that you don't see on screen. It has it's up sides and downsides being ringside to a fight compared to tv.

I personally believe some of these fella's aren't concentrating fully on the right aspects. I'd love to see a article with all the top referees in this country explaining what impresses them in fights what they look for basically.

I know they been there for 4-5 hours and they been ref'ing and judging and get tired and loose concentration but O'Connor takes **** each and every time.

It's either total incompetence or something more sinister with some of these judges. When it's always the same names popping up then it's a real concern.

It'd be interesting to see what their set criteria is or if they even have one. Maybe they just leave them to see what they see? Boxing is subjective, but there is/should be a standard criterion for scoring a fight that everyone should know.

Sometimes i wonder aswell if judges should be given monitors or tv screens so they can see what we're seeing on TV too.

Something definitely needs to be done though and it can be, but the powers that be probabily don't want to fix the problems, some of them like the flaws of the system just as they are because it makes it easier to be corrupt.

it was the type of fight a point either way you couldnt grumble but 6 of a difference it is the same ones all the time as slip says baffling to me yet unsurprising
